Tumbleweed seeds Original

About the Original Drawing

Graphite Drawing a2 size on white smooth 330gsm cartridge. A complex drawing of a fascinating plant. The tumbleweed, once dead, separates from its root and stem and then is able to roll with the wind. The species lives in arid sparse environments which do not impede it being rolled by the wind. As the structure erodes and breaks up, the seeds are released and wherever they land, if the soil is moist, they then germinate to form a new plant.
