The Caracal is a medium-sized wild cat with reddish coat and tufted ears. It is very secretive and difficult to observe in the wild. It lives alone or in pairs and is territorial. It eats small rodents, mammals and birds. It can leap up to 10 ft in the air and catch prey in mid flight.
